A4A Apps are the usual iOS or Android apps offered in the Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore from partners like Spotify, TuneIn, Napster, Deezer etc. which integrated a BMW software library to be able to connect to our vehicles. Those apps are still running on the iPhone or Android phone and are presented in the BMW iDrive system. As BMW driver you can use all these services safely and conveniently in the usual way, via the iDrive Controller.
In order to find out which third-party apps can be used in your BMW, go to the "Hub" tab and then "Apps" in the BMW Connected app for more information. iOS and Android differ in third party app availability. Depending on the manufacturer and the construction date of the vehicle the smartphone can be connected to the vehicle via Snap-In, Bluetooth or USB.
From the "Vehicle" screen, tap on the "Locate Vehicle" button. For some vehicles, the vehicle location is automatically updated based on where you last parked. For other vehicles, you may need to tap on a circular arrow underneath the map to refresh your vehicle’s last known location. If you haven’t done so already, you’ll be prompted to turn on GPS tracking from the "Settings" menu in your vehicle, and/or to activate location services for BMW Connected on your smartphone.
On older vehicles that do not have the GPS tracking setting, for security reasons you may only be able to view the location of your vehicle if it’s within 1 kilometer (0.62 miles) of your current location.
If you are repeatedly seeing failure messages when trying to perform remote commands, you may need to refresh your vehicle’s data connection or renew your BMW ConnectedDrive subscription. First, to refresh your data connection, follow these steps:
• Navigate to the "ConnectedDrive" menu on your in-car screen
• Press the "Option" button on your iDrive controller
• Select the option labeled "Update BMW Services" (it may also be labeled "Update BMW Assist" or something similar, depending on your vehicle model)
• Wait for the "Transferring data…" status message to change to "Data transfer completed" (this may take several minutes), then press "OK"
• On your phone, log out of the BMW Connected app from the "Profile" screen under the "More" tab, then log back in using your BMW ConnectedDrive username and password
Remote commands should now be working normally (please note that it typically takes 30-60 seconds for commands to be carried out successfully). However, if there still appears to be an issue, it’s possible that your ConnectedDrive subscription has expired. Please visit www.bmw-connecteddrive.com to renew or add a subscription.
For BMW ConnectedDrive Services the vehicle's pre-installed SIM-card is used. Before the vehilce is delivered to you the SIM-card and your ordered BMW ConnectedDrive Services are already activated. You can therefore use all BMW ConnectedDrive Services you have ordered and do not require personalization upon reception of your BMW. Services that do not require personalization include the Intelligent eCall, BMW TeleServices, Concierge Service, Real Time Traffic Information, Internet, Online Entertainment and many BMW Online applications. All personalization and vehicle settings can be made in the BMW ConnectedDrive Portal. Once the settings are active you can use the Remote Services or configure your e-mail accounts for BMW Online Office, for example. If you purchase additional services in the BMW ConnectedDrive Store you are able to use most of these services immediately after ordering them. Some services, such as Remote Services, must be activated in the BMW ConnectedDrive Portal prior to use.
Once your vehicle has been added in the app, you can see a list of remote features available for your vehicle by tapping on the "Info" tab on the "Vehicle" screen.
Newer vehicles (2014 and beyond) are compatible with the greatest number of app features. However, some features are model-specific and won’t be visible to all users (e.g., charging stats for electric vehicles). Therefore, your experience with the app may differ from one vehicle to another.
An active BMW ConnectedDrive subscription is required in order to use most app features. Please visit www.bmw-connecteddrive.com to renew or add a subscription.
This function enables you to dictate e-mail and/or text messsages while driving. Through the dictation function and the offboard speech recognition provided by Nuance® your spoken messages are transformed into text and allow you to remain focused on the road while driving. The dictation function can be booked via the BMW ConnectedDrive Store in the vehicle or on the internet in the BMW ConnectedDrive Portal. In the vehcile the function can be found via the "Office" menu and transforms your dictation into a written message, that can directly be sent as an e-mail and/or text message from the vehicle.
You can locate your vehicle at any time via the BMW Connected App once the location services are activated in the vehicle. However, please report this immediately to the police as well. Provided your approval we will support the autorities with regard to this.
The Web Radio function from the older BMW Connected Classic app is not included in BMW Connected. However, you can still listen to radio stations from around the world in your BMW via one of the compatible third-party apps listed on the "Hub" tab (e.g., TuneIn Radio).
For iOS and Android users this can be done by connecting your smartphone to the car. For Android the Connected app first needs to be opened, for iOS this is not necessary. Then, open the respective third party app on your phone to use the app in your vehicle. Please note that for iOS devices a confirmation is required on the mobile device to start the third party app. Your BMW will need to be equipped with BMW Apps Interface to be able to use this feature. In addition there is the option of direct to car music streaming (BMW Online Entertainment). This provides a subscription with unlimited data within your BMW to a choice of music provider (currently Deezer or Napster). To see if this is available for your BMW please visit the BMW ConnectedDrive Store at www.bmw-connecteddrive.nsc.
BMW ConnectedDrive is a technology package containing of services and apps, connecting you with the outside world. With a pre-installed SIM card in your BMW you can easliy use innovative BMW ConnectedDrive Services, such as BMW TeleServices, Concierge Service, Remote Services and Real Time Traffic Information in many countries worldwide. An own mobile phone for usage is not required. In addition, we have created the BMW ConnectedDrive Portal, where you are able to manage personal data and settings for your booked services. For example it is possible to activate the remote services of your BMW and send a destination or a message to your vehicle within the portal. In short: BMW ConnectedDrive unites unique BMW Services and offers you an extraordinary form of mobility as a driver.
Please check the URL structure of the RSS feed. It must definitely contain the entry http://. You can also check whether the path details for the RSS feed do actually match the address of the RSS feed. In many cases the main domain of a website, e.g. http://www.bmw.de, is not the correct address for the RSS feed. Please check with the provider of the RSS feed that the path details are correct.
In order to see which services are available for your vehicle you must first add your vehicle to your BMW ConnectedDrive account. Following this you will be able to see all available services as well as the corresponding prices and runtimes in the BMW ConnectedDrive Store.
With the service news on your personal fields of interest can be displayed in the vehicle. Receive selected news from blogs, websites or from certain news magazine areas. You can select up to 20 different news feeds at once. In order to do so access the BMW ConnectedDrive Portal and select "Remote Cockpit" then "Control" and "New Newsfeed" and enter the internet adress of the newsfeed in the line "URL". Following this, select a name for the newsfeed and press "Save".
Once the customer has activated remote services on the ConnectedDrive Portal or the Connected App, he can use remote services using a smartphone application, using the ConnectedDrive Portal or by making a phone call to a call center.
To use the smartphone app the customer needs to download the app via the platform’s app store and initialize the app accordingly.
BMW ConnectedDrive Services are flexibly bookable depending on your needs. Many basic services such as the Intelligent eCall are usuable for an unlimited period of time upon purchase of a new BMW. For example, if you order BMW ConnectedDrive Services ex-factory, BMW will be active for 36 months. After this time period services can be booked in the BMW ConnectedDrive Store with a runtime of 12 months. Provided your BMW possesses the required basic equipment it is possbile to purchase BMW ConnectedDrive Services in the vehicle via the ConnectedDrive Store. Prices for all services are displayed comprehensively in the BMW ConnectedDrive Store and depend on the respective runtime.
An overview of countries where it is possible to use BMW ConnectedDrive can be found on the BMW webpage under the paragraph "Legal Information/Data Privacy". "Legal Information/Data Privacy" is categorised into three different equipment options Under the respective menu point "Service Availablilty" all countries are listed in which your BMW's services are available. Concerning all three equipment options the eCall as well as the Intelligent eCall (Based on equipment option) are available in many european countries. The services TeleServices, Concierge Service, BMW Online and Remote Services are available in every european GSM mobile network. Traffic information in real-time: Real Time Traffic Information is available in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Great Britian, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. V+ Info is available in Germany, Great Britian, France, Italy and the Netherlands. The service "Internet" is only available in the country of purchase.
BMW Connected can currently be used with Amazon Alexa in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. For Google Assistant, it can currently be used in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia. Additional countries will be added as these providers expand the geographic availability of their respective services.
Vehicle related data shall only be used to provide the service and shall be retained until all procedures have been completed. All data processed in BMW IT system, will be automatically deleted after 12 weeks.
In the main menu select "Office", then "Write". Here, select either text message or e-mail as sending option as well as the recipient. Following this, the option "Dictate Text" is offered, provided your smartphone supports this function. Prior to the first use insert your e-mail adress and accept the terms and conditions.
Wifi and Bluetooth. For the Wifi connection, a specific Wifi antenna is needed that is built into the cars when the option 6CP is ordered from factory. If the option 6CP was not ordered ex-factory, Apple CarPlay can be bought via CD store in case that one of the following options are ordered ex-factory: 6NS, 6NW, 6NP, 6U9, 6FR.
Teleservices never transmits customer data. Only vehicle data that relates to the state of the car and protects your safety is transmitted. Data processed or stored depends on the particular service provided.
The data transmitted depends on the technical capabilities of the vehicle and may vary depending on your vehicle model. Teleservice Call

BMW / MINI Roadside Assistance
In the event of a breakdown all relevant data about your vehicle such as
• Vehicle identification number (VIN),
• Condition based service (CBS) data (e.g. next vehicle inspection date or the status of the brakes), check-control messages (CCM, e.g. tire pressure), battery voltage
• Your current location will be sent to the Mobile Service once you accept the data transfer
Service Partner Management
• The Vehicle identification number (VIN) will be sent to BMW to link your vehicle to your preferred Service Partner
Data transmitted to 3rd parties:
To help warn other road users of an incident and potential changes in traffic, anonymized data from a Roadside Assistance call (current location and alert) may be transferred to 3rd party traffic providers. No personal information is included with this data.
Apple CarPlay Preparation enables the wireless and convenient use of your iPhone in your car.
Smartphone content such as iMessages, WhatsApp, Telephony, Entertainment / Selected 3rd party Apps and Navigation can be displayed and operated seamlessly within the vehicle.
The operation is done via touch input, iDrive Controller or voice commands (depending on the equipment of the vehicle).
Smartphone apps, such as iMessages, WhatsApp, maps and navigation (e.g. Google Maps), telephony or entertainment such as iTunes or Spotify. An overview of available apps can be found under www.apple.com/ios/CarPlay/.
The password has been entered incorrectly too often. Request a new password via the login page on the BMW ConnectedDrive Internet portal (www.bmw-connecteddrive.nsc) > Request contact. The new password will be sent to the mobile phone number registered in your contract.
The Battery Guard informs you automatically via e-mail or text message once the battery status of your vehicle reaches a critical level. In your BMW ConnectedDrive Portal this function can be activated under "Remote Services" and "Control".
For reasons of security, the remote functions must be enabled and a security question together with a reply specified in order to use the charging profiles. You can edit both of these details in the Settings menu.
You will be able to reach a better recgonition rate of your dictation function. You can hereby optimize the use of the system by including frequently used terms such as names from your address book or technical terms. The transmitted data is immediately available in the vehicle after the import is completed. Every new import replaces already existing data. You can therefore only use the last transmitted data.
Within approximately 30 seconds of performing a remote command, a horizontal bar should appear at the bottom of the "Vehicle" screen confirming the status of your command. You can also view your remote command history at any time by tapping on the "History" link located at the bottom of the "Vehicle" screen.
The climate control function of your vehicle will not be carried out if this might impair the serviceability of your BMW eDrive or BMW i model. For instance, no climate control takes place if the battery power level is critical.
On the "Vehicle" tab, the app displays various indicators of your vehicle's current status, such as the fuel level, drivable range, and door lock status. If you have a newer vehicle, in many cases this status information will update automatically to reflect the status of your vehicle after its last use. If this normally occurs for you but the updates have suddenly stopped, there may have been a temporary service outage. Please check again after your next drive.
If your vehicle's status information never automatically updates in the app, your vehicle may not be compatible with the auto-update feature. In this case, connecting your phone to your vehicle via USB while driving will ensure that the latest status information gets displayed in the app upon exiting your vehicle.
The "Activity" tab displays a list of your upcoming trips, including trips you’ve manually entered, trips shared from other apps, trips pulled from your calendar (if calendar access is enabled on the "Settings" page), and predicted trips. Trips you’ve saved for later will also appear on the "Activity" tab.
The public interoperable Union-wide eCall service (EU eCall) based on the single European emergency call number 112 and third party service supported eCall systems (BMW Intelligent Emergency Call) can coexist provided that the measures necessary to ensure continuity in the provision of the service to the consumer are adopted.
In order to ensure continuity of the EU eCall in all Member States throughout the lifetime of the vehicle and to guarantee that the EU eCall is always automatically available, all vehicles should be equipped with the EU eCall, regardless of whether or not a vehicle owner opts for the BMW Intelligent Emergency Call.
Consumers should be provided with a realistic overview of the EU eCall and of the BMW Intelligent Emergency Call as well as comprehensive and reliable information regarding any additional functionalities or services linked to the BMW Intelligent Emergency Call on offer, and regarding the level of service to be expected with the purchase of the BMW Intelligent Emergency Call and the associated cost.
The EU eCall is a public service of general interest and should therefore be accessible free of charge to all consumers.
Where provided, the BMW Intelligent Emergency Call should always remain optional for consumers.
With Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) you will receive information on the location and the duration of traffic incidents, almost in realtime. Among others, this Information comes from GPS-Velocitydata of other mobile devices and road users. This enables you to profit from reportings on the current traffic situation on highways, expressways, rural roads and important innercity roads. Provided a traffic incident is detected, or following you confirmation in the navigation system, you are efficiently redirected in order to reach your destination as soon as possible.
The functions that are available for your vehicle depend on its date of production and on the special equipment options you have selected. You will find a summary of available remote functions for your vehicle in My BMW ConnectedDrive in the "Activate Remote Services" menu.
The reception of traffic information can be activated/deactivated manually. To do so select "Navigation" in the main menu. Under "Map" select "Traffic information". Traffic information is received by activating the menu point "Receive traffic information". The traffic flow can be visually displayed on the map by selecting "Traffic information" - "Traffic information map". The displayed colours on the map represent the following conditions: Green - No traffic incidents Yellow - Heavy traffic Orange - Slow-moving traffic Red - Traffic jam Black - Route closed. Provided route guidance is active, traffic information will be displyed as red symbols on your route. Using the menu point "Traffic information" detailed information regarding traffic incidents can be found. Traffic information marked grey does not concern your current route.
The signature block in an e-mail message is extended information about the sender that is automatically added to every e-mail that you send. You can record personal or professional details in this signature, such as contact information, company name or position. It is not mandatory to set up a signature block.
For some trips, a "Last Trip Summary" card will be presented at the top of the "Activity" tab shortly after completion of the trip. Tapping on this card reveals trip details such as the trip time, fuel consumption, and more. This feature is available for trips of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) or more in length, and the app’s location access must be set to "Always" before the trip. Additionally, to ensure your trip data is captured, your phone must be connected to your vehicle via USB with the app launched on your phone. Or, if connecting via Bluetooth in newer vehicles, the "Apps" option must be selected when initiating the Bluetooth pairing. Be sure to keep your phone connected to your vehicle until the vehicle gear is changed to "Park".
BMW Online provides you with current news, keeps you up to date on weather information and lets you look up e-mails as well as your adressbook in your vehicle. BMW Online helps you in finding pharmacies, parking lots, pictures at your destination or cheap gas stations in your direct vicinity. Be inspired by fascinating routes and send your preferred route directly into your BMW. This and much more can be experienced with BMW Online.
From the "Settings" menu within the "More" tab you can manage the app’s access to your GPS location. By default this is set to "Always", but you can also choose the "While Using the App" setting. Note that this option will disable or reduce the quality of some app features, including time-to-leave notifications and the last trip summary.
If your device is equipped with fingerprint-based access (e.g., Touch ID on Apple devices), you can use that feature to unlock the app instead of entering your PIN. Given the sensitive information available in the app – such as your schedule and the ability to unlock your vehicle – the PIN or fingerprint ID feature is an important safety measure to keep you and your information secure.
A personal adviser takes your calls 365 days a year, around the clock. "Concierge Services" are exclusively available for use in the car. To initiate an enquiry, select: CONNECTEDDRIVE/CONCIERGE SERVICE. A voice connection to the BMW Call Centre is established, and within a few seconds you will be connected to an agent, who will be glad to assist you with tasks such as searching for points of interest. Use of the information service is free of charge for BMW ConnectedDrive customers. You do not incur any connection charges.
A port number is part of the network address, under which the respective e-mail servicer can be reached on the Internet. The services and functions of a server are assigned to unique port numbers. To enable these functions to be used, the correct port must be set for the respective function in the e-mail program being used. Please ask your e-mail provider for the specific port number if the preset values do not function.
TLS – short for "Transport Layer Security" – is a transfer protocol that protects the data exchanged between the e-mail server and your e-mail program against unauthorized infiltration/interception. Please check whether your e-mail provider supports or prescribes this protocol. If it does, please activate this feature, checking that SSL is not activated as well.
When emails are retrieved using the function "BMW Online" in the vehicle, data is transmitted via a BMW server. When emails are retrieved via the BMW iDrive menu point "Office" data is transmitted via your smartphone.
The app uses an algorithm that looks at the frequency, duration, and time of day that you visit your destinations. When it detects certain patterns it labels destinations automatically as "Home" or "Work".
Your BMW searches for the gas station with the lowest fuel price offers close to your or at any selected location. Select the desired fuel type, search the preferred gas station from the results and your BMW will lead you directly there. Under "Applications" or "Add Applications" you will be able to find the application "Fuel Price Search".
After performing a remote command from the app (e.g., locking the doors), it typically takes 30-60 seconds for your vehicle to carry out that command due to a thorough verification process. This process may take longer for older vehicles.
Your BMW has integrated sensors that will send out the eCall if needed. For example, if an airbag is activated, an audio connection to to the BMW ConnectedDrive Emergency Call Center is automatically established. The hereby transmitted data shows your current position and allows to indicate the severity of the accident. The information is transmitted to the next rescue coordination centre, in order to provide help as quickly as possbile.
From the "Hub" tab, select "Dealers and Bookings". This will display a map and list of BMW dealers near you. Select a dealer to view more information about that location and to schedule a service appointment (only available in certain markets).
Depending on the number of messages in your e-mail inbox, it is possible that not all e-mails will be synchronized with your vehicle. If you use POP3, the e-mail messages may have already been deleted by another device. You can check this in your online inbox.
BMW recommends that every customer should test the manual emergency call once by pressing the emergency call button. A voice connection to the BMW Call Centre is established. Safety reasons mean that you cannot terminate the voice connection yourself. Inform the person you are talking to that this is a test call. If you do not respond to the Call Centre agent’s questions, he/she will assume that there is an emergency situation and will inform the nearest emergency services unit of an accident.
SSL – short for "Secure Sockets Layer" – is an encryption protocol that establishes a secure data connection between the e-mail server and your e-mail program. Please check whether your e-mail provider supports or prescribes this protocol. If it does, please activate this feature, checking that TLS is not activated as well.
In order to send points of interest from Google Maps (www.maps.google.com) to your vehicle, select the desired destination in Google Maps from the hit list for your search query. Select "Send" in the drop-down menu to the right of the relevant result, then select "Send to Car" and then "Make: BMW". Please enter your BMW ConnectedDrive user name in the "BMW Assist/BMW ConnectedDrive user name" field. If you are using the new Google Maps you need to login with your Google account in order to use the "Send to car" feature in the full map view. You can find addresses or destinations which you send to your vehicle as "My Info" in the menu CONNECTEDDRIVE/MESSAGES. You can accept the address of the point of interest for route directions by pressing a button in the navigation system. If there is a telephone number for the point of interest and you have connected your mobile phone with the vehicle, you can dial the number directly.
Based on the current traffic situation your BMW calculates a detour which can be activated by selecting the symbol "Detour". Following this, information on the detour route as well as the saved time is displayed. If a delay of less than 20 minutes is displayed on your route, this will be indicated by a yellow traffic information symbol. With a delay of more than 20 minutes or a closed route the colour will change to red.
Your vehicle recognized the need for a service appointment and sends out an automatic TeleServices Call. Your BMW Service Partner can see this call and will actively contact you using the submitted phone number. The automatic TeleServices Call enables you to schedule an appointment with your BMW Partner without a previous visit there.
You can use this function to send the coordinates and address details of the selected charging station as a message to your BMW eDrive or BMW i model so that you can accept it as a destination in the navigation system. You will find the data inside the vehicle in the menu CONNECTEDDRIVE/MESSAGES.
Provided other road users need help quickly, you are able to acitvate the manual eCall yourself. Using voice connection the current GPS-Data of your vehicle is transmitted to the BMW ConnectedDrive Emergency Call Centre. The automatic eCall transmits the exact GPS-Data as well as the direction of travel of your BMW. Additionally, the BMW ConnectedDrive Emergency Call Center will receive your vehicle identification number and then colour of your BMW. From September 2008 onwards additional information such as the activation of the airbag, the impact side, the number of passengers and, dependant on the model, a potential roll-over of the vehicle are also transmitted. Based on this information fast and specific help can be provided.
Generally the services are directly available in the vehicle after the purchase. However, there are exceptions if at the time when the trigger (store purchase) arrives at the vehicle, the connection to the vehicle can’t be established (e.g. the vehicle is in the underground).
In this case the trigger has to be activated manually by the customer by updating the services through the CD menu.
If your vehicle has BMW ConnectedDrive / BMW Connected, you will automatically have Teleservices – free of charge. All you have to do: give your preferred Service Partner and enter your customer data in the BMW ConnectedDrive / BMW Connected customer portal.
The vehicle has to be ready to receive data before a service that has been booked can be set up inside. If your BMW is not able to establish a mobile network connection, there may be delays in setting up a newly booked service.
At lower zoom levels, reasons of clarity mean that many individual Charging stations are shown as one single marker. The number indicates how many Charging stations are located in this area. At higher zoom levels, these figures are displayed as individual Charging stations.
For security reasons, the e-mail servers do not usually issue any precisely identifiable error messages, which unfortunately means that we are unable to give you any specific information on the source of the error when setup fails. If verification of the data does not resolve the problem during setup, please contact your e-mail provider or BMW ConnectedDrive Customer Service.
You have activated the override timer function in your vehicle. This cancels all the setting for the charging timer in My BMW ConnectedDrive and in your BMW eDrive. In order to reactivate your settings for the charging timer and off-peak charging times, you must deactivate the override timer.
The "Send to Phone" service is exclusively for use in the vehicle. In order to send the vehicle’s position to a mobile phone, select: CONNECTEDDRIVE/BMW ONLINE/APPLICATIONS/SEND TO PHONE. Then enter your e-mail address or mobile phone number and activate the service. You will receive an e-mail or text message within a few seconds giving the current location of your vehicle.
A European law for the introduction of a mandatory EU eCall in all new vehicle types as of 31.03.2018 was adopted by the EU Council and the EU Parliament in April 2015. Accordingly, effective 31.3.2018 BMW Group will implement a 112-based eCall in-vehicle systems in all vehicles that need a new type approval from 03/2018 onwards
You can also send points of interest from Google Maps to another vehicle. To do this, enter the user name of the person to whom you wish to send the point of interest in the field "BMW Assist / BMW ConnectedDrive user name". If you are using the new Google Maps you need to add the respective vehicle to your Google account in the "Car or GPS device" page of the Send to car feature.
The free-standing value gives the figure for the last journey. The comparison chart shows the average values of your own BMW i against those of the BMW i community. There is only one average value for your own vehicle. To provide a better basis for comparison, there is an upper and a lower limit within the community.
First select the vehicle to which you wish to send a message in the "My Info" menu. In the next step, write a message and send it. Alternatively, you can also send a point of interest to your vehicle. Enter your search term and select the desired destination.
It is your decision whether to select the detour recommendation made by RTTI and it is accepted manually. In order to do so, go to "Navigation" select "Map". Under the menu point "Traffic Information", "Detour" all recommended detours can be seen. By activating "Dynamic Route Guidance" all detour suggestions are automatically accepted. The symbol "Detour" will be displayed in grey if no detour suggestions is available oder if no route guidance is not activated.
The function "Charge immediately" cancels all the settings of the existing charging timer, which would prevent the vehicle being charged immediately. The charging cycle is started immediately. Cancellation of the setting also excludes any off-peak charging times. Owners of BMW electric and hybrid vehicles can heat or cool their vehicles from the app. For certain other vehicles, while a remote engine start function is not available in the app at this time, a BMW Remote Engine Start Unit may be available for purchase (depending on your vehicle model and country of residence). Once you’ve searched for and found your destination via the "Destinations" tab, select it to go to the "Details" screen. From there, tap "Schedule" and select your desired day and time of arrival. You will then receive a notification on your device when it’s time to leave for that destination in order to arrive on time given current traffic conditions. On devices with smaller screens, you may need to swipe up to see the "Schedule" option.

The colour indicators are determined by using various components, such as the number and the speed of vehicles that are located in a certain area. The calculation of travel times is carried out on the basis of the respective road category as well as delaying factors such as traffic lights.
Please check in the "Send to Car" menu to see whether the sending of destinations to your vehicle via partner websites has been activated. If you are managing several vehicles in your user account, the data will be sent to the "preferred" vehicle.
